I have a new baby brother

Well about a week ago I got a new baby brother. My grandma named him Kefi which means a passion or zest for life in Greek. I think he looks like a mini me. hee hee. He is so much fun to play with. I also like to groom him and we sleep near each other at night. He is a nice baby brother and think I will keep him.

A new brother, some catnip and a play date.....

Its been awhile since I have blogged. I hear I will soon be getting a new brother to play with in the next few weeks. I think I am excited! :) I hear he will be a little ball of orange fluff just like me. I am really looking forward to showing him the ropes and frolicking with him. My sisters are all sea slugs so they don't really play with me anymore. :(

My dad has been growing some catnip for some time in the backyard. I absolutely love it! I get to go out for walks these days on my halter harness and leash and love it. I get to have play dates with my neighbor named EI. He is so fun to play with. When we have our play dates, his mommy brings down the yellow catnip banana toy for me and his kitty tent is great fun too.

Well I am off to take nap. Had a very fun day today.

Its been awhile since I have posted. I have been looking for a job. Not much out there right now. :( I am not seeing a lot of entry level jobs for Biotechnology which is what I finished up classes in from December. Oh the economy is horrible! I hope things pick up soon. Today is nice and sunny and I felt a bit of spring like weather. Aslan curled up with me during these rainy days this past week. :) He is such a comfort! Nothing like having a little ball of fur love you and doesn't really want anything in return except food, water and treats occasionally. Gotta love our sweet lilttle fur babies!

This is a pic of my favorite guitarist Stef Burns from Huey Lewis and the News. This was taken this last summer when he just released his new solo Cd. It was at a cd release party in Benicia, CA at ABC Music. He is holding a cake that someone had made for him to celebrate.

New rugs and such

My Mommy was excited today because her Mommy gave her some money early for her birthday so she could go out and buy something she really has been wanting. She came home with lovely amethyst colored ( Mommy's fave color) towels and bath rugs. I initiated them by being the 1st kitty to go roll and lie on the new bath rugs.... so soft and cozy! Think I will have to cat nap here often. >^..^<

Hope the new year is already treating you well. I am bummed to see the holidays go. I liked terrorizing the tiny Christmas tree mommy had put up. The Christmas lights were all so tempting! hee hee For Christmas, I got this really neat ball with openings and mice come in and out of the openings, I can also hear the mice squeak too when the ball rolls around. I think it is my new favorite toy beside the plastic milk rings. I love to fetch the plastic milk rings by the way. :)

Well I am sleepy so I need to go take a little cat nap. See you all again soon.
